Italian grinder was good not great but good. The manicotti was good but a rather small portion for the price. The meatballs with cheese was very good. This place is always clean and the servers are good.

Pizza is fantastic and of course the salad, something so simple, yet so delish. Great family run eatery.

Oh my goodness I've tried chicken Marsala, shrimp scampi, meatballs, pizza, and other stuff. Always very good. Only complaint, no moussaka, even though I know the owner can make it. ;) Call ahead, usually a line. Price point good for portion size. Get EXTRA tomato sauce, really good. SUPPORT LOCAL

Ok, so here's the thing. Most of us in The Villages moved here from some city or town where we had our set list of goto restaurants and we all think our hometown pizza shop was the best! It's true. To you, your home town pizza maker had the perfect sauce and the right amount of cheese, and that thin, or thick crust on the dough was cooked perfectly, and it was your favorite. We all have expectations and we all have that pie in the sky that we reminisce about as we continue to try new places in and around our new hometown in central Florida. ...looking to fill that void, and looking to quench our pizza cravings! I'm just like you. I came from the Baltimore area, and I had a few goto pizza shops that were my favorites. I love a sweet sauce, and I'm a sucker for extra cheese. It has to be a hand tossed crust, and I prefer small sized meat toppings. Don't overload my pie with too many huge hunks of sausage, ground beef, bacon, or whatever. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make here is that I've tried all of the pizza around here since I've been here, and Stavros checks off all of my boxes. It's really REALLY good pizza, and they seem to care about their product, and their patrons. The shredded Greek salad is a huge draw for me now too. I loved their Greek salad dressing! In some ways I still miss my old favorites, as I'm sure you do too, but don't hate on the locals because they don't do it the way you're used to. Give these Greeks a chance. I gave them a chance, and I'm sure happy I did. To me, their pizza is so good, I will even think about making the car trip from the comfort of my designer home to Stavros in Fruitland Park for a carry-out pizza once in a while. Yes, it's THAT good! I'm talking about a 14 minute drive in each direction just to satisfy my pizza craving.

A simply amazing Italian and pizza place that I went twice while in the area. All the food from the sandwiches to the pizza all taste great. The staff is very friendly and the place is busy with both sit down and take outs for pizza. There is a wine bar in a seperate area as you enter for a before dinner drink or wine tasting. The meatball grinder had just the right amount of marinara and the meatballs were homemade. The garlic cheese bread is delectable by both being crunchy on the outside and super soft and chewy in the inside. The garlic is just light enough and when paired with the fresh made marinara it is a home run. The pizza were ordered with their original for the meat lover and "thin" for the mushroom. The only difference is that the base is the same but on the original the crust has a folder over layer. The tiramisu was from a nearby bakery and was decent, but it was definitely on the lighter side for taste and did not have any of the rum flavor. I assume it was being child-friendly for the restaurant which is understandable.

If you're looking for Vintage Old Florida eateries with fantastic food off the beaten Path - this is your place. Food is authentically made with fresh ingredients and piping hot when it reaches your table. Bite into crispy doughy pizza crust with delight and enjoy the Greek salad with Stavors very own homemade dressing Literally steam is coming off your meal. The service is impeccable and prices not off track.

We drove over to this Leesburg edge pizza restaurant and met with a couple from our neighborhood to dine. We got there at 5:45 PM on a Thursday and had three parties ahead of us who were seated before us. When you show up you add your name to a list and how many people are in your group. It was not more than 1( minutes that we sat in the small bar area before we were called to be seated. It is very crowded in the restaurant and seemed very efficient with plenty of service people to handle the crowd each couple ordered a Greek salad and a small pizza. There was plenty to share between two of us and the pizza was good and served quickly considering all the tables were full of people we will probably eat here again

Went here on a Saturday evening. There is a wait, so we put our names on the list and it was about a 20 minute wait. Booth and table seating available. This is the place to come to for basic Italian Food. Order the Veal Parmesan and portion is a large portion. Veal was cooked correctly however greasy. Ravioli's were ordered and also cooked well, some of the Ravioli's stuck to the metal serving dish but otherwise no real complaints. Also, ordered was the Shrimp Scampi - nothing great and would not order again. Great garlic bread is served with an entree and good size portion along with small Greek Salad. Ranch Dressing is available beside Italian dressing. I would return however order different items next time.
